The Every Kid Sports Pass is a program designed to assist families in covering youth sports registration fees. To determine if your child qualifies, please review the following criteria:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Age: Children aged 4 to 18 years are eligible.
- Enrollment in Assistance Programs: Your child must be currently enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Type of Sport: The program supports recreational sports; elite or travel sports are not eligible.
- Season Duration: The sports season should last at least four weeks.
Application Process:
- Verify Eligibility: Ensure your child meets all the criteria listed above.
- Prepare Documentation: Gather proof of your child's enrollment in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC.
- Submit Application: Complete the application form available on the Every Kid Sports website.
- Await Approval: The review process typically takes up to seven business days.
- Access Funds: If approved, you'll receive instructions via email on how to access the funds through the Chekā¢ mobile app.
Important Notes:
- Family Contribution: Families are required to contribute at least $10 toward the registration fee.
- Funding Limit: The program does not cover 100% of the registration fees.
